How can you glorify the LORD for His creation during the hurricane?
First, don’t complain.
Second, as you see the clouds move across the sky and the force of this magnificent storm, you can see God’s power demonstrated and His design present in all creation. Thank Him for upholding creation in light of the amazing world around us (learned this from Answers in Genesis). Thank Him for His promise: “And … the Lord said in his heart, “I will never again curse the ground because of man, for the intention of man’s heart is evil from his youth. Neither will I ever again strike down every living creature as I have done. While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.”” (Genesis 8:21–22)
Thirdly, do all you can to encourage and help others; especially find ways to bless and encourage those in your own household. Bear your burdens together, and if able, help others where they need it.
Fourthly, read the Bible and pray, start there. Because there are so many amazing promises about what God is doing through the gospel in our days forward. As we proclaim the gospel to people, it will change the world.
