Genesis-Roman Road

Many presentations of the Gospel leave out the Beginning. Not this one.

1. God made everything.

“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1)

2. God made everything perfectly —no death or suffering.

“And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.” (Genesis 1:31)

3. The punishment for sin is death — the world is no longer perfect.

“And to Adam he said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, ‘You shall not eat of it,’ cursed is the ground because of you; in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life; thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you; and you shall eat the plants of the field. By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”” (Genesis 3:17–19)

4. Because our mutual grandfather sinned, we now sin too.

“Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned—” (Romans 5:12)

5. We need to realize all are sinners, including ourselves.

“for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” (Romans 3:23)

6. We must trust in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

“because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)

Have you just trusted Jesus as Savior  & Lord?

We would love to hear from you !
