The Church

We believe that the Church is all people, from the beginning of the world to the present day, who are children of God, by the Grace of God through Jesus Christ, and regeneration and sanctification through the Holy Spirit.  The Church is made visible in local communities, wherever the Word of God is preached, and the sacraments of Baptism (attesting to our faith in Jesus) and Communion (attesting to our continuing fellowship in Jesus) are administered.  Each local church shines forth as witnesses of Jesus Christ, when they organize in obedience to the Scriptures under qualified leadership called Elders, unify by the Spirit around sound doctrine, practice discipline, gather regularly for the spiritual growth and perseverance of one another, and disperse to make disciples of all nations.
